Dots & Oranges A Still Life

Dots & Oranges was inspired by photograph of a sculpture by a Norwegian ceramic artist called Johanne Birkeland.

This was my first painting of 2024 where I wanted to paint for the joy of it. I wanted to over express the colour in the photo and show the beauty of something so simple.
